Partial delivery and backorders to your own address

If you place an order to be delivered to your own address and not all items are in stock, you can opt for partial delivery. If you choose the option ‘Allow partial delivery’ when ordering, the items that are in stock will be sent the same day. The other items will then be backordered and sent automatically with your next order. The backorder will not be sent on its own.

Backorders and drop-ship customers

With drop-shipping, later delivery of items not currently in stock is possible. In such cases, the shipping costs are charged again for the later delivery. You can send orders in separate, partial consignments whenever the order has the status ‘Order not in stock’. Go to the relevant order in your Order Overview and click on the Place Backorder function. You will then be offered payment options for the additional shipping costs.
